Hope I see you again…
Life is like water. If the water stands at a place then it creates a bad smell. If it continues its flow then it looks perfect. So, we can’t spend our lives in the same places because man needs change. Therefore, the time came when I was leaving Amal Academy. I know Amal Academy would not leave me alone but I will really miss the weekend online sessions, a lot of SMS on my What’s App, emails from my Program Associate (Sir Muhammad Anas), and Program Manager (Ma’am Ayesha Amin), a lot of notification on the Facebook group.
Before the last day, we took a presentation on the Mega Project with our circle members. After giving a presentation, I was so tired on that day. So, I took a rest and got enough sleep. Therefore, I got up early in the morning, took breakfast, and got ready for the session. I was also ready to leave this adorable connection built from our Batch 159.
My last online session at Amal Academy was so energetic and full of excitement. Firstly, we played a game that was like more than a puzzle. Firstly, we solved the puzzle. In the next, we find out about specific objects in our home. The third step was to take a selfie with it. Lastly, we posted it in Google photos. We played well. I enjoyed and loved this game a lot. Although, we were not the winners. It was my favorite part of the last session.
I learned a lot of new experiences from Amal but my favorite part was to start a conversation and build your connection with others. Break the communication barrier and start to impact on the others. Therefore, I made many friends at Amal Academy. Also, I want to meet them in-person. I want to keep in touch with your Amal Family going forward by taking some tea together and celebrating birthdays together. I already plan to meet up with some fellows when I will go to Lahore.
There is a very important question raised that how would I implement all those things in my personal and professional life that I learn from Amal. The answer is that I already start working on it for example; When I help someone, I help her/him with my heart rather than like a burden, the same case with my studies. I started to spread love and appreciation in my surroundings. Whenever I will go for an interview and presentation, I will use all those techniques that Amal has taught me.
Last three blogs that I wrote to thank you to Amal Academy. All are very near to my heart. A piece of poetry for the Amal Family:
I don’t know how to say this, but I thank you very much
for always being there for me, your gentle, friendly touch.
Thank you.
You helped me to get better and stop what I regret.
You helped me through the hard times, that I can’t forget.
Thank you.
You listened to my problems in a kind and caring way,
and without you, I may not be smiling today.
Thank you.
I trust you with my secrets that no one has been told.
I trust you with my feelings, and I’ll remember your words
until I’m grey and old.
Thank you.
